Moonwell is operated by Leonhard Holmer Patoschka, an individual sole proprietor in Austria.

No Firmenbuch registration number or VAT identification number is provided. The operator is also responsible for the content of this website.

Moonwell provides a symbolic digital entertainment experience. It is not a charitable donation service and promises no supernatural outcomes.

Who is responsible

Leonhard Holmer Patoschka, at the address and email above, is responsible for the personal data processed through Moonwell.

What we process and why

We store the words you submit, whether you choose a wish or curse, the selected amount, timestamps, payment status, a Stripe checkout reference and a hash of your private receipt credential. We use these to deliver your ritual, confirm payment and let you return to your saved words. The legal basis is performance of the requested service (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Basic request information, including IP address and browser information, is processed by hosting infrastructure. Moonwell uses a hashed IP-and-hour identifier to limit abusive submissions. Security and abuse prevention rely on our legitimate interest in protecting the service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Support correspondence is used to answer requests and resolve purchases. Where required, transaction records are retained to meet legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Your words and receipt

Words are not displayed on a public wall and are not sent to Stripe. They are stored on the server and are not end-to-end encrypted: the operator can access them. Anyone holding your complete receipt link can read the associated words. Keep it private and avoid submitting sensitive information or personal information about other people.

Service providers

This website and its database are hosted on Cloudflare in the operator’s own account. Stripe handles checkout and payment information under its own privacy notice. Moonwell does not receive or store your full card details. These providers may process data outside the EEA; applicable provider arrangements and transfer safeguards govern that processing.

Storage duration

Moonwell entries expire 14 days after submission. This includes the words, receipt credential hash, payment references, amount and status stored in our application database. Expired receipts cannot be accessed. Entries are deleted on the next website request, with an hourly background check intended to perform cleanup even when there are no visitors. You may also request earlier deletion. Rate-limit records expire after approximately one hour and are removed during cleanup.

This policy applies to Moonwell’s application database. Stripe transaction records, hosting logs and provider backups follow their providers’ retention policies and applicable legal obligations. Support emails and legally required business records may also be retained separately. We cannot promise that those records are erased after 14 days.

Browser storage

Moonwell uses browser session storage for your draft and receipt credential so you can recover your checkout. Drafts expire after 14 days and are removed when you next open the site, or when your browser clears its session storage. Moonwell does not add advertising or analytics trackers. Hosting and Stripe may use storage necessary for security or checkout, as described in their notices.

Your rights

Subject to applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to office@nuntiate.com. Provide your offering identifier or Stripe payment reference so we can locate the entry and verify your request; do not send card details. You can complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority.

Purchases, cancellation & refunds

What you buy

Your one-time payment purchases a symbolic ritual and its 3D animation, together with storage of your submitted words. All amounts (€1, €2 or €5) unlock the same experience. There is no subscription. The selected amount is the total amount charged by Moonwell; Moonwell adds no extra checkout fee. The payment is not a charitable donation.

A wish or curse is symbolic entertainment. Payment does not cause or guarantee events in the real world.

Delivery and requirements

After confirmed payment, the ritual plays in your browser. A modern browser with WebGL and an internet connection is required. Animation performance depends on your device. Your private receipt lets you replay for 14 days after submission, while the service remains available. After that, your entry is deleted and the receipt stops working. Keep your Stripe payment reference if you need support or a refund after deletion.

Refund policy

You may cancel your purchase and request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, including if you have watched the animation. We do not require you to waive that right for immediate delivery. Duplicate charges are refunded. If the paid experience cannot be delivered and support cannot resolve the problem, we will refund it. These promises do not limit statutory consumer rights or remedies for defective digital services.

To request a refund or withdraw from the purchase, email office@nuntiate.com or write to the operator address above. Include the purchase date, amount and offering identifier or Stripe payment reference. A clear statement that you wish to cancel is sufficient; using the sample below is optional. Do not include card details.

Approved refunds are returned through Stripe to the original payment method without a Moonwell refund fee, within 14 days of your cancellation request. Your bank may take additional time to display the refund. Refunding a purchase does not automatically delete your words; you can request deletion separately.
